Two Full-Size Single Beds, One Space-Saving Frame

Most guest beds pair a full-size base with a narrower, shorter second mattress. This one doesn't. Both the main bed and the pull-out trundle use genuine UK standard single mattresses (90 x 190cm), so whichever bed your guest ends up on, they get a proper night's sleep, not a compromise.

The trundle stores neatly beneath the main bed frame on castors and slides out in seconds when needed. Positioned alongside the main bed, it gives you two separate singles; with the optional zip-link mattresses, the two beds join together to form one large bed instead. Both levels are built to comfortably support adult use, so this works as well for regular guests as it does for occasional sleepovers.

Two 1000 Pocket Spring Mattresses Included

Every Guest Bed & Trundle comes with two matching UK standard single mattresses, each 25cm (10") deep. Each one is built on 1000 individually pocketed springs that respond to your body shape and weight independently, so you get even support without the roll-together feel of an open coil mattress. The springs are finished with a tufted polyester comfort layer and a woven damask cover. Both mattresses are turnable (two-sided), which helps maintain even support and extends their lifespan over years of use.

Full Floorstanding Headboard: Two Styles

The optional headboard is a full floorstanding headboard, not a half or strutted one. It stands on the floor behind the bed at a full 127cm high, so it looks like a proper bed in the room rather than a pull-out. It comes in two styles at the same price:

• Plain: a clean, smooth upholstered panel.
• Howarth (3 bar): three horizontal stitched bars across the face, the style shown in our Grampian Seal photos.

Both are upholstered in the same fabric and colour as the bed, so the two match exactly. Choose None if you'd rather use your own headboard or put the bed against a wall.

Two Fabrics, Ten Colours

Plush Velvet has a dense, short pile that feels soft and smooth under the hand, with the gentle sheen velvet is known for, so the colour shifts slightly as the light catches it. It gives the bed a richer, more luxurious look and comes in Grey, Pink, Cream, Navy and Black.

Grampian is a brushed, wool-look weave. It is soft and warm to the touch but has no pile and no sheen, so the finish is matte and lightly textured, closer to a fine tweed or soft wool than to velvet. It suits a calmer, more natural look and comes in Cocoa, Mink, Seal, Coal and Dawn.
