Drinks Tables & Cabinets

Bar tables for small kitchens and home bars

A bar table sits higher than a dining table and takes up less floor space, which makes it a good fit for a kitchen corner, a narrow dining area or a games room. You will find round, square and rectangular styles:

• Round bar tables: the Ibiza tall round and Malta round ceramic tables are easy to walk around in tight spaces.
• Oak effect and metal bar tables: Barlow, Roxby, Seaford, Chara, Grafton and the Rockport pipework table suit a kitchen wall or a window.
• Flap tables: the Arundel bar table has a flap that folds down when you need the space back.
• Bar tables with stools: the Roxby, Barlow and Bahamas sets come with matching stools, so the heights are already sorted.

Getting stool height right

If you buy a bar table on its own, match the stools carefully. Leave about 25 to 30cm between the stool seat and the underside of the table top. As a guide, a table around 90cm high (counter height) needs a stool seat of about 65cm, and a table around 105cm high (bar height) needs a stool seat of about 75cm. Height adjustable stools cover both. The product page gives the table height; you will find stools in bar stools.

Wine cabinets and drinks tables

For storing rather than serving, the Arya and Orleans wine cabinets keep bottles and glasses together in one place. The Louis fluted drinks table is a small side table for a glass and a book. The Newcastle serving trolley moves drinks, or tea, to wherever the guests are. Several sideboards include a built-in wine rack too.

Finishes

Expect oak effect, black ash effect, ceramic tops, painted finishes and black metal frames. The product page lists the exact materials and measurements.
