Upholstered beds in velvet, boucle, chenille and linen-look fabrics, led by our own range: 14 headboard designs made to order in the UK, in 14 colours at one price. Frames start from £219, and fabric samples are £1.
Our own upholstered range
We make the Any Bed range to order in the UK. You pick one of 14 headboard designs, then one of 14 colours, and the price stays the same whichever colour you choose. Frames start from £219. Each design also comes as a gas lift ottoman bed, with a slatted or divan style base, if you want storage underneath.
The colours come in two fabrics:
- Plush Velvet: Silver, Cream, Black, Steel, Pink, Mocca, Mink and Blue. Soft with a slight sheen that changes with the light.
- Naples: Cream, Silver, Mink, Slate Grey, Black and Mauve. A flatter, woven look.
Colours on screen are never quite right, so order fabric samples at £1 each and hold them up against your walls.
Other upholstered beds
Beyond our own range you will find curved velvet headboards (Frida, Astrid), boucle beds (Eden, Hannah, Oberon, Florence), chenille (Whitmore, Ravello), linen-look fabrics (Rialto, Aylen, Wilton) and quilted velvet (Sanderson). Many come in a plain frame and a storage version, such as Gatsby, Katie and Aylen with an ottoman base, Wilton and Mayfair with four drawers, and Leila with storage doors.
Choosing a fabric
Velvet looks rich and feels soft, but shows pressure marks where you lean, which brush out. Boucle is textured and forgiving, though pets love to pick at the loops. Chenille and linen-look weaves are the most practical for a busy bedroom. Darker colours hide marks, lighter ones make a small room feel bigger. Check the product page for each fabric's care advice.
Headboard height and sizes
Most upholstered beds here come in double and king, with many in single, small double and super king. Tall headboards look best on a clear wall, so measure up to any window sill first. If storage matters more than the headboard, compare these with our ottoman and storage beds, or pair a divan base with a floorstanding headboard.
