About Any Bed
Any Bed is an online furniture retailer, based in Halifax, West Yorkshire. We sell beds, mattresses, bedding and furniture for the whole house, and we deliver free anywhere* in mainland UK.
Why we do it this way
Buying a bed should be simple. In practice it rarely is.
Walk into a showroom and you are paying for the showroom. The building, the car park, the staff on the floor, the commission. All of it ends up in the ticket price of the bed you carry home.
Online is not automatically better. Plenty of sites bury the delivery charge until the last screen of checkout, or advertise things they cannot actually get hold of.
We wanted to build the straightforward option. One clear price. Free delivery on every order, with no minimum spend (*except for some remote and off-shore places where we either cant deliver or there is a surcharge). Honest information about what you are buying and when it will turn up.
What we sell
Beds first, because that is where we started and it is still what we know best. Wooden beds in oak, pine and beech. Metal beds. Fabric and upholstered frames. Divans, sofa beds, TV beds and guest beds. A large range of bunk beds, mid sleepers and gaming beds for children's rooms. Mattresses, pillows, duvets and toppers to go with them.
Beyond the bedroom we stock wardrobes, chests of drawers, bedside cabinets and dressing tables, plus furniture for the living room, dining room, hallway and home office. Around four thousand products in total, from established British furniture makers including Julian Bowen.
How we keep prices sensible
We are online only. No showrooms, no shop floor, no half empty regional warehouses. We buy direct from the manufacturers and their stock ships straight to your door, which takes a whole layer of cost out of the chain. We pass that on rather than keeping it.
We are not trying to be the cheapest thing on the internet. Very cheap furniture is usually cheap for a reason, and it tends to come back. We would rather sell you something that lasts and not hear from you again for ten years.
What happens after you order
Most orders leave the warehouse the next working day and arrive within a week. We will tell you if anything is likely to take longer. We do not offer a next day service, and we would rather say so up front than promise it and miss.
Everything arrives flat-packed with instructions, and most items go together in about an hour with two people. Assembly guides are linked on every product page, so you can read them before you buy and see exactly what you are taking on. We do not offer an assembly service.

If something is not right
Changed your mind? Tell us within 14 days of delivery and you have a further 14 days to send it back. Sealed hygiene items cannot be returned once they have been opened. Everything we sell carries a guarantee of at least 12 months. Our full returns policy sets out the detail.
If something arrives damaged or a part is missing, email or call us and we will sort it. You will get a person, not a ticket number.
