Sofas & Sofabeds

Sofa shapes and sizes

• 2 seater sofas: the Daisy compact 2 seater, Ottilie, Marshall and the 2 seater versions of most ranges. Good for flats, snugs and bedrooms.
• 3 seater sofas: the Hayward, Omaha, Westham, Henrietta, Carrera, Remy and others. The usual choice for a main living room.
• Matching pairs: many ranges come as a 2 and a 3 seater, such as the Monza, Vivo, Rohe, Henley, Hayward, Carrera and Henrietta. The Omaha and Westham are also sold as a set of two 3 seaters.
• Corner and chaise sofas: the Marant corner sofa, the Omaha corner in right hand facing, the Lago combination sofa and the Midfield chaise in left or right hand facing.

How to choose a sofa that fits

Measure the wall you want the sofa against and leave space at each end for a side table or to walk past. Allow around 45cm between the sofa and a coffee table. Then measure your front door, hallway and stairs, because a sofa that cannot get in is just an expensive doorstop. Each product page gives the sofa's size.

For corner and chaise sofas, left hand and right hand facing describe the side the chaise or corner sits on when you face the sofa. Picture yourself standing in front of it, looking at it, before you order. Our guide on how to choose a sofa that fits your living room has more on measuring.

Fabrics and finishes

Chenille (Hayward, Vivo, Carrera, Daisy) is soft and hardwearing. Velvet (Monza, Hayward) is rich-looking and shows pressure marks, which brush out. Linen-look weaves (Henrietta) feel light and relaxed, while boucle (Midfield) adds texture. Faux leather (Henley, Marshall) wipes clean, which helps with children and pets.

Sofa beds and the rest of the room

If visitors need somewhere to sleep, see our sofa beds, including Monza sofa beds that match the Monza sofas. Some sofas count towards our buy any 3, save £75 offer, taken off automatically in the basket, so it can pay to add armchairs or coffee tables to the same order.
