The feather, down and Comforel toppers are made to order in Fife, Scotland, by dùsal, with elasticated corner straps to hold them in place. Each comes in Standard Fill or High Fill; High Fill is deeper and plumper.

Feather or foam?

A feather or down topper adds a soft, warm layer you sink into, like a good hotel bed. Memory foam moulds to your hips and shoulders and spreads your weight, so it changes the support as well as the softness, and it can come off in summer if you sleep warm. For foam, 2 inch takes the edge off a firm mattress, 3 inch gives a clear change, and 4 inch gives the most cushioning.
