9 tog: spring and autumn, or a well-heated bedroom.
10.5 tog: the all-year choice for most British bedrooms.
13.5 tog: winter, cold rooms and people who are always cold.

Delivery and returns

Made to order and delivered free to England, Wales and most of Scotland, usually in 1 to 2 weeks.

Changed your mind? Tell us within 14 days of delivery and you have a further 14 days to send it back, as long as it is still sealed. For hygiene reasons we can't take back duvets once the packaging is opened.

Questions people ask

Which tog should I choose?

10.5 tog suits most British bedrooms all year. Choose 13.5 if your room is cold or you feel the cold, 9 for a warm room, and 4.5 for summer or if you sleep hot.

Is it suitable if I am allergic to feather?

Yes. The filling is entirely synthetic, so there is no feather or down in it.

Can I wash it at home?

Yes, at 40°C, if your machine is big enough for the size. Larger sizes may need a launderette's machine. Dry it completely before putting it back on the bed.

Can I save on pillows with a duvet?

Yes. Buy any duvet and save £15 on each pillow or pillow pair, up to two. The saving is taken at checkout.

Why does delivery take 1 to 2 weeks?

Because it is filled to order in Fife rather than taken off a warehouse shelf.

Who makes it?

It is made for us in Glenrothes, Fife, by dùsal, a family-run British manufacturer that has made pillows, duvets and toppers for hotels since 1990 and is the only Downafresh® accredited manufacturer in the UK.

How long does delivery take?

Free delivery to England, Wales and most of Scotland, usually in 1 to 2 weeks. We will be in touch to arrange the day.
