Every duvet, pillow and feather topper in this range is filled by hand when you order it, by dùsal in Glenrothes, Fife. dùsal has made bedding for hotels in the UK and abroad since 1990, and is the only Downafresh® accredited manufacturer in the UK. Nothing is made in advance and left in a warehouse, which is why delivery takes 1 to 2 weeks and why everything arrives at full loft.

Natural fillings are washed and steam-cleaned to the EN 12935 hygiene standard and come from a maker with a documented traceability system. Fibre fillings are all feather-free, and include an anti-allergy fibre (Allerban), a cooling fibre (Cool Night) and a fibre made from recovered beach plastic (Aerelle Blue).
Save when you buy together
- Pillows in pairs: two pillows ship together for one delivery charge, so a pair costs less per pillow than two singles. Our feather-free pillows come in pairs and sets of four.
- Duvet and pillows: buy any duvet and save £15 on each pillow or pillow pair, up to two. The saving comes off at checkout.
Putting a bed together
Start at the bottom. A mattress topper softens a firm mattress. Then choose pillows by how you sleep: soft for front sleepers, medium for back sleepers, firm for side sleepers. Finish with a duvet in the right tog for the room: 10.5 tog suits most British bedrooms all year. Matching the filling across duvet and pillows gives the bed a consistent feel.
